Healthy Kids!

Work together with local families to identify infants and children who need to be immunized, and help to keep parents informed on which steps are to be taken towards getting necessary vaccinations for their children.听 Students will be working with parents and the staff of the Ministry of Health听of Kyrgyz Republic to address听the importance of childhood immunizations and the consequences of not getting them. Participants will work together to implement the community action plan along with a healthcare partner over the 2019 fall.

This activity advances the UN Sustainable Development Goal #3. You can learn more about it below.

About the organization leading this session:

The aim of the Ministry of Health is to protect and promote the health of citizens in the Kyrgyz Republic.
